Zirconium Oxide Balls

Zirconium Oxide Balls

Refractory ceramic balls offer exceptional resistance to rust, wear, and heat. When they are subjected to impacts, they get harder. A high-strength material performs well at temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C). Functions successfully in various environments, including molten metal, organic solvents, caustics, and most acids. In some applications, zirconia oxide endures in corrosive and erosive environments two to three times longer than metal or carbide. Being lighter also helps to minimize damage to mated components.
